Best Excursion For My Family!
Mitch D, 07-01-2023
Best Excursion For My Family!

Such a great excursion (in Puerta Vallarta). My wife and I, along with our 5 kids (16,14,12,10,8), had a blast! We went in early January 2023. From our cruise ship, we took an easy walk to the boats. Fun 20-minute boat ride to take us closer. Adventurous 20-minute truck ride to get us to the site. Cool 10-minute mule ride up the hill. Short hike up a few more stairs. Thrilling zip lines, rides, slides, and more that were sooo much fun. Fantastic BBQ lunch after (we all got chicken, steak, chorizo, quesadilla, chips etc.). Fun activities (inflatable bull riding, corn hole, archery, basketball shooting) after lunch and while we waited for the pictures and the ride back.

Huge shout out to Laura for helping my 8-year-old love it! He was terrified and she not only got him on and doing it… but he says it was the most fun thing he did on our whole trip. More shout outs go to David, Luis, AB & Tony.

Cool thing we did… we brought old tennis shoes we knew we’d throw away after.
Cool thing we did... we had the girls wear swim suits that have shorts and shirts.

If I were to do it again… I’d bring extra clothes & shoes to change into after. They provided towels and changing rooms.
If I were to do it again... I'd still buy the pictures... they are expensive, but worth it.

The only negative thing I can think of (or item of improvement) was the speed at which the instructions were made. We got the harnesses on and started so fast and moved on to the next ride so fast we didn’t really know what we were doing hahahah.
Best Zip Lining Adventure Ever!!!
Anne_M, 07-01-2023
It was our best zip lining experience ever! We’ve done many zip line excursions before but this was absolutely the best.
Thank you Luis, Cesar & Yiyo you are all professionals and funny! Our favorite was the roller coaster zip line. The speed boat ride, the safari keep ride and the donkey ride prior to zip lining was a blast! We even saw humpback whale on the boat ride. I Highly recommend this excursion to everyone! We loved every minute of the adventure!
Best adventure in PV

Best excursion we have ever done. I took my 15 year old son who has no fear so I had to suck it up a few times!
The employees are amazing. They will make you feel comfortable and safe.
I did find the photos were a bit expensive however the photographers work very hard to get some amazing shots, we typically don’t buy the photos anyways but the were fun to look at.
A few tips: Bring some cash so you can buy a margarita and a quesadilla after your adventure. The bartender is super fun and the lady making quesadillas is legit!
We enjoyed every minute from the pick up to drop off. We even saw some whales!
If you do anything in PV it should be this.
Fun for thrill seekers! You will get wet!

So much fun! My husband and I went on this tour. To start the day, we made our way to the ship port in Puerto Vallarta. There, we checked in and paid our port fees. We boarded a small boat (about 20 people) and headed to our destination. Along the way, there were humpback whales in the bay and our boat captain stopped so we could see them. The whales were very close and it was amazing!!! After we got our fill of videos and photos, we started back to our destination. We arrived in a small inlet and then boarded a truck to head up the mountain. Once we arrived at the tour area, we were fitted in all of our gear. We rode burros up to the starting point for the ziplines. The guides were a lot of fun! I was more apprehensive than my husband and held back a little. My husband had a fantastic time! He's a thrill seeker and this tour was amazing! We have ziplined a lot and we have never before ziplined like this! The roller-coaster zipline was super fun. It goes up and down and around. You literally catch air a few times. The only thing I didn't love was that you land in the water at the end. Literally get dunked. I was able to pull myself up easily enough, but I don't swim well and don't like my head going under the water. The surfboard zipline was another unique one. You stand back-to-back with your partner and balance as you go down the line. It was actually really easy & stress free. We liked the rappel down the waterfall. I was on the wet side and slipped a lot, but my husband stayed steady on the dry side of the rappel lines. The water at the bottom was waist-deep. There are 2 waterslides. On one we went together. The second one is where you wear a hockey mask and elbow pads. It is very steep & fast. It ends with water over your head again. There's no way to plug your nose because of the hockey mask. Again, I didn't drown, but I don't like water over my head. All in all, we would definitely recommend this activity to any thrill seekers! It has so many different things to do! On the way back to the port, we stopped at Los Arcos de Mismaloya and we saw more whales! A lot of people have commented on the price of the pictures, but we felt the cost was worth it ($100 USD for 2 people). The pictures are fantastic and the photographers try hard to capture everything! We were missing a few photos from our USB drive, but we just emailed them our information and within 24-hours we had a link to all of our files.
A lot of fun, just be prepared for a few things

This tour had a lot of unique features I had not experienced anywhere else before. I have done zip lines and speed boat tours before. However, this tour had a lot of variety with rappelling down a beautiful waterfall, a zip line roller coaster (which was an unexpected thrill!), the option to hang upside down on a zip line, and a surfboard style zip line. You will get very wet and it is cold water so be prepared! There is no way around it your whole body will be dunked in repeatedly. This tour is not for the faint of heart and people who don’t like an adrenaline rush. I had an amazing time, but some folks were commenting on how they didn’t expect it to be as intense as it was. You do ride mules to the top from the base camp to the zip lines. As an animal lover and one who avoids supporting animal tourism I do wish there had been a different option to get to the top. The mules did seem better cared for than I have seen in other countries however. I wish we could have given them treats at the top for carrying our butts all that way. You can not hike that climb yourself! It’s extremely steep and would take forever. The cons of this trip is that is very much a “tourist trap,” everything is quite expensive. They take photos and a few video clips that cost $150 US dollars if you want them at the end. You are not allowed to bring your own Go-pro or anything like that. It is a 7 hour adventure and food is not included. You can purchase some simple quesadillas, snacks, and drinks, including a margarita bar, again all which was pricey. The resort itself is nice but very much has a “zip line Disneyland vibe,” with basketball hoops, archery, a mechanical bull, swings, teeter totter, etc at the top like a giant playground. Overall we had fun, just be prepared to spend more money than you may had anticipated for by the end.
