This specialized excursion is designed to capture the magical moment when you have an encounter with the beautiful dolphins and the majestic humpback whales in Banderas Bay. The essence of this Tour is to observe marine life and enjoy beautiful moments when you can calmly contemplate whales and dolphins while playing, jumping and enjoying their natural habitat.

There is no "typical day" in this adventure. We usually let the whales and dolphins "take over" the itinerary. We cannot always predict where we are going to find them, so we let them guide us along their favorite route of the day.

once we found whales captain didn't chase he would know where they were going and be there

Whales the highlight.

I took our daughter and two granddaughters on this excursion. We had a great time. The boat is easy to navigate. The staff are friendly. They had nice drinks. But the highlight were the whales. Up close and personal. I've been out whale watching a dozen times. This was the best experience I ever had with the whales. Just amazing.

Pleasant experience

Friendly staff, service as expected and announced online), whale watching in spite of the weather condition starting to get a bit bad (cloudy, a bit windy and with some drops of rain) and when it got hard to find whales, at least they turned it into a joyful tour around the bay.

Great whale watching experience! And dolphins too!

We saw the whales up close! They seemed to be playing. There were four of them that we hung around for awhile. Also the dolphins were fun to see as they played around our boat.

Relaxing but disappointing

As a sea cruise, it was very relaxing and the crew was professional, courteous and very accommodating. Lunch was a deli sandwich and a bag of chips. The alcohol was as much as you could drink but nothing special. From a whale watching experience, it was disappointing. The boats are not allowed to get very close and although we stayed to watch them for at least an hour, they didn’t really get above the surface so all you experience is some splashing and a view of the fin of the mom/cow occasionally and while the calves were more active- you didn’t see much more of them either. On our cruise, we did not see any dolphins but we did spot a couple of sea turtles from a distance and plenty of seabirds.
