My family of 6 did the ATV Zip line combo. We stayed at the Riu palace and our ground transportation was $40 to the wildTrek office. It looks a little sketchy but it was just fine. We got geared up (helmets, goggles were included), we had to pay a $3.00 fee to rent bandanas. We brought a backpack with extra clothes (didn’t need them but we went straight back and showered). The backpack was so dirty when we got back I threw it in the trash. The ATV ride is about 1 hour. Super fun, easy to drive. We had no experience with ATV’s and we figured it out quickly. When you arrive at the zip lines, you immediately order your lunch. Again, looks sketchy but it was totally fine. There is a locker for your personal belongings. The zip line has 10 lines. That took about 1 hour. Then you go to a restaurant and eat - it was about $100 for 6 people for lunch (with drinks). Then there is a tequila tasting. Also great. They try to sell you the picture package. We did not buy the pictures but they went as low as $1500 pesos for 6 people so if you want pics just know you can negotiate. We tipped the Zip line guides $20. After the restaurant you ATV back to the office. We tipped our ATV guides $20. I think it was great and I would recommend it.
This was a fantastic tour! We all had an amazing time. The tour guides were so friendly and we felt so safe. They interacted with my kids well, and the entire experience from beginning to end was truly unforgettable. Excellent way to see Puerto Vallarta

The whole adventure was fun and exciting. My only suggestions for future attendees for the ATV portion is to make sure everyone knows what 10-15 feet is as that is the distance that the guides request for this portion. When people lag behind, it slows the whole group down. Other than that, for the zip line portion, make sure to do some ab work before traveling to PV. With 9 zip lines, you'll definitely get a few sore abdominal muscles.....Enjoy!
