We had an educational introduction by Pilar, and she and the caption were very good in finding and describing whales in the Bay.
Exciting whale/dolphin watching experience

Pilar, the tour guide was excellent, showing us a video explanation of the different types of marine mammals' evolution and what we were expecting to see later on. She placed a sonar device in the water to listen the different sounds the whales were producing. She took her time for us to watch different groups of whales while feeding. All the group was with me was very satisfied with the tour.

Fantastic experience! Our guides took us to 1 location where we saw a mother and baby whale.
The next location had a male whale that played beside our boat for 20 minutes. It was incredible. He was so close to us that we got sprayed several times. The guides seemed to know exactly where to find the whales. It was an awe-inspiring experience to be so close to this majestic creature in its habitat.

We learned so much about ocean animal biology during the outdoor presentation beforehand. This tour is definitely for those who are care about the ocean animals- the tour operators make sure to never get too close to the whales and โharassโ them. The biologist had a microphone that went into the water to listen to their sounds. We could hear both whales and dolphins. At one point, our boat was right over them, as they were hanging out below us, and we could hear their sounds without a microphone! Just know it takes a lot of patience to find the whales, because this is nature, not a staged animal show.

We did the whale watching tour and WOW. I want to book the dolphin experience next time.
This was my second time on a whale watching excursion and by far the absolute best! It is a much smaller and more intimate boat (with no bathrooms) but definitely worth it.. We got up close and personal with the whales, we even followed and mother and baby for a little while. When our guide noticed they were also being chased by three male whales we backed off to find other whales to cause less stress to the baby. I found this to be very respectful and am thankful there are still good companies out there!
