This tour focuses on snorkeling, bird watching and getting to know our beautiful islands.
2 hr - We depart around 9 am from Marina Vallarta. At just 10 minutes, the Ameca river provides great views and is the perfect spot to find some dolphins having breakfast. After the first 15 minutes we arrive downtown, but during the winter, the ocean provides great wildlife on the way out like dolphins, turtles, manta rays and whales. Arriving at Los Arcos National Park we will provide the snorkel gear and we will teach you how to use the gear and life jackets and provide some important information to improve your in-water skills to make your activity fun and safe.

Snorkeling was great. Swim into the hidden beach was very nice. Sandwich for lunch was just enough to get us through. We were able to see several whales up close on our trip. More than we expected. Rodrigo was excellent tour guide.
We had an amazing time 4 years ago snorkeling at Los Arcos and Majahuitas and wanted to go back. This time we booked our tour with Eco Explorer, and were so glad we did. We expected a tour with at least 6 other guests. We ended up with an almost private tour, just my wife & I and our awesome snorkeling guide, Bernice, and a father/daughter diving duo with their awesome diving guide, Eric. We also had an amazing boat driver who spotted dolphins and a turtle for us to see. Bernice was hands down our favorite snorkeling guide of all time, leading us through the best snorkeling sites in Banderas Bay. My family and I had a great time snorkeling at Los Arcos with Eco Explorer. We were on a small boat (9 guests + 3 crew) and had a guide in the water with us. We arrived well before the huge snorkeling bay cruises that dump 100+ people into the water at a time without guidance. We saw many beautiful fish along the sides of the arches and Eco Explorer provided a sandwich and water after we snorkeled. I definitely recommend Eco Explorer for the customer service and small group experience.
