This experience offers you a broader vision of the field work carried out by the civil association Ecology and Conservation of Whales for more than 25 years (ECOBAC). Your participation includes a donation that helps to continue with research and conservation of Humpback whales.

An excellent experience, the tour guide was very well informed and had a great rapport with us. She explain in great detail the whales behavior. I highly recommend the tour.
Very enjoyable and successful whale watching experience

While most tours seem to depart in the morning, we chose this tour for the afternoon departure. The introductory talk by Maggie was very informative and professional including the passion for the environment. The sea was calm and the boat very spacious and clean for the group of 13. We had three separate encounters of mothers with their calves. It was very successful and enjoyable way to see these amazing animals. Would definitely do this again and choose Ecotours, everything worked very smoothly and everyone was very friendly!

We spent a magical afternoon with Oscar answering our every question and seeing ten whales in total plus a very large group of bottlenose and spinner dolphins!
There is a short introduction before leaving the office for the boat with some general information about whales. The boat was the perfect size, I appreciated the more personal interaction available with less then a dozen of us on board. I was also thrilled to be able to listen to whale song with the underwater microphone! The captain was mindful of the whales and kept his distance, and didn't spend too long near one group to avoid stressing them.
Overall highly recommended - this organization really cares about the whales and the environment, and clearly takes sharing their knowledge with visitors seriously, while of course delivering the information with the characteristic PV laid back charm.

Wonderful Day Whale Watching

We had a fantastic afternoon of whale watching made even more enjoyable because of our guide Maggie and excellent captain Martin. We were hoping to see a whale and we saw many whales on this afternoon adventure. Maggie spent the day teaching constantly everything she knew about these great creatures and their habits.We even got to listen to them sing. One of the best tours we have ever had.

Excellent whale watch. What we liked:
1. Maggie was a great guide. Knows a ton and very helpful. Martin was captain and great too.
2. Small boat so you get a diff view of whales if you've only seen from bigger ships (like off of cape cod).
3. Lots of activity. Saw many whales. A few breaches, flipper smackd, etc
4. Company keeps proper distance from whales.
5. Small number of people on boat.
No real cons but you are on a boat in bay so it rocks on water. One of our kids was a bit seasick. 4 out of 5 of us were fine.
