Marietas Island is a national marine protected area that is why we have the best naturalists and biologists on boat. They will share their expertice with you.
Our boat is comfortable, safe and fast.
We only take small groups (max 10 per boat) and our trip is really focused on snorkeling and enjoying the beauty of the islands and visit the hidden beach (with some restriction out to our control). Only 116 persons have access to the hidden beach and you can be lucky to get to swim to inside. (NOT EXTRA COST ADDITIONAL).
Our biologist and naturalist take you to discover great beaches and beautiful scenery amongst blue footed boobies and other wildlife.

- At the check in will be collected the entrance and conservation fee $100 mx pesos per person (federal and local taxes)
- COVID-19 vaccination required for guides
- Face masks required for travellers in public areas
- Guides required to regularly wash hands
- Must be followed the rules was established by the by the CONANP (National Commission of Protected Natural Areas) to visit the Islas Marietas National Park. Drones are prohibited in this tour.
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Only 116 persons by day are permit to get in to the hidden Beach and we do our best effort on every visit to get places for our tourists to enter, but it`s not always possible due bad weather condition or places not available, so we can`t warranty the ent
- Paid stay-at-home policy for staff with symptoms
- Regular temperature checks for staff
- Safety measures have been added for all activities and Covid-19 protocols are implemented. Face masks required for traveler at the check in.
- Social distancing enforced throughout experience

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Experience may be cancelled due to Insufficient travelers
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Rare chance to get on island but go for trip!

The swim is no joke. Wearing a helmet and timing the waves was exciting. The rangers have the power over which people get access and they have favorites and aren't logical. The guide was full of facts and the info about the already lost hidden island and cat island was great. Lots of whales seen!
Great time watching whales and snorkeling

Thanks to Cinthia and Rafael for a great excursion! The snorkeling was really cool and we saw lots of fish, coral, and birds — just note that the water where you snorkel is really deep and there are some small waves, so it may be too stressful for people who don’t have much swimming experience/aren’t used to swimming in the ocean. But they provide life jackets and if you’re generally pretty comfortable in the water, it should be fun. (Cinthia was also great about helping my husband get back to the boat when he accidentally swallowed too much salt water and felt nauseous.)
A major highlight of the trip was the humpback whales! I honestly would have been thrilled to spot just one, and we saw a *ton* - including what seemed to be some intimidation behavior between rivals. Cinthia and Rafael steered the boat closer so we could get a better look (while of course still giving the whales a bit of space), and they were super knowledgeable about them. So it ended up basically being a snorkeling and whale watching trip combined!

We had an amazing excursion with Cynthia and Alonzo. The Marietas are beautiful and the snorkeling was superb. Cynthia is a wealth of interesting knowledge about all the wildlife, the islands, and could answer any question. Alonzo, the boat captain, was able to find us multiple whales along the way and we even got to witness several male wales competing for a female. It was incredible. The boat and the ride were really comfortable. I would definitely go again if I was in the area. Highly recommend this trip!
Friendly Staff and Great Tour

My wife and I went on the Marietas Island snorkeling tour with a visit to the hidden beach. Cynthia was our guide, and Alonzo was our captain. We had a wonderful time. The hidden beach, although a limited time experience, was very cool...just a one of a kind experience. Cynthia took us to a great snorkeling spot on the Islands, which although the water is not as clear as in the Caribbean, it was much clearer than you see near the beaches in PV and we saw a lot of fish - including some humpback whales. All in all, it was a fun experience that we would both highly recommend! And a great lunch was provided!
