A great time
The food was delicious a great place to enjoy day. The crew on the boat were great and always kept your drinks full.
Amazing!!! (With a few glitches...)
The Las Caletas Tour was AMAZING!! 99% of the staff was very courteous and professional.
Definitely worth the steep price. There are, however, a few glitches and areas of opportunity. First and foremost safety/security could be improved... for example we wore no like jackets in the boat and the guy (extremely nice by the way) had a scrape on his forehead with flood and paid little attention to it. Pictures are absurdly expensive bilutvalso very good :)
Finally, they unilaterally canceled our original booking at the very last minute and had to take the Las Caletas Tour ( which again was fantastic) but were nor offered an apology nor compensation for this.
All around, the company, Vallarta Adventures does a fine job across the board, if they could fix these issues it would be magical!!!
Kudos guys, you have a fantastic product in your hands!!
Good half day trip
Very nicely organized. Good lunch spread and drinks were included. Kids had fun in the beach and adventure park.
Felt a little short though - roughly 3.5hrs on the island. Could have spent an hour more.
fun but be careful
1) It is a fine way of spending time. For that, I would give 5 but I have to subtract 2 for the below reasons.
2) They advertise as the tour is 7 hours, but the actual time you can spend for the activities is 3.5 hours at best (the rest are commute, lunch wait, etc). If you pay extra money for extra activities such as parasailing or marine encounters etc, the total hour that can be spent on other activities is extremely limited. The marine animal encounter was good but it took so long. If we are to go again, I would not buy any extra activity.
2) Caution. After some water activities, we climb up to the deck from the ocean. Strong guys working there would offer hands from the deck but they would pull you so hard. It was ridiculously rough. They don't understand most people are not as well-built as they are. Two of us were pulled unnecessarily hard and both hurt our shoulders badly. So if you are offered hands, the safe bet is to decline.
Very beautiful place for human but sad for captivated animals
In the description it says 7hr but literally you only spend 4 hr in Las Caletas. Not enough to do some activities and relax. Everything is rush rush rush. Staff were very nice but we felt we need to tip them all the time. It was very beautiful place with fun activities. Massage was very good but not included in the package. Food and drink were good.
The part that I did not enjoy at all was the animal encounter. The pool they keep the sea lions was too small with many of them swimming back and forth. Clearly they were too stressed. I felt so sad watching them. People were riding and taking pictures with Ray fish. Felt so sad for that poor animal.
Not to mention all those poor parrots that were captivated for human amusement.
